Our primary KPI was the number of hooked streamers, and our objective was to increase this figure. To achieve this, we aimed to connect our users with content that resonates with their preferences. To facilitate our users in finding the content they are interested in more efficiently, we began exploring the quickest methods for discovering content tailored to each user's interests.
Like other OTT services, the biggest challenge in content discovery is that users have a hard time committing to pressing play.
Time is precious, and our users don't want to waste it watching something they won't enjoy.
And it's difficult to sift through all this content and make the right choice that would make the user's time worthwhile.
Prior to setting up the hypothesis, I spent some time to study user’s behavior and did a bit of research…

than non-hooked streamers
