LEAGUE PAGE
BEFORE
A significant challenge for our sports experience was the lack of an intuitive navigation. Typically, sports fans tend to watch only the matches of their favorite leagues or players. However, users could not navigate by sports type, league, team, match, player. Our users had to scroll collections and go through thumbnail by thumbnail to find the league or match or player they like.
For example, in order for a F1 fan user to find F1 match, they had to scroll all the way down to 7th collection.
We focused on delivering MVP structure improvement by providing navigation from league level first. High level navigation helped users reach their favourite league immediately. Also it was flexible to expand navigation by matches, teams, players and more.
AFTER
Entry point
We added an UI where we show a collective view of all the leagues available on our app. The order of the leauges appearing in this section is based on most recent match and popularity. Users can quickly swipe through to gain awareness of what kind of leagues are available instead of scrolling collections one by one.
